That of Floor and Giorgio, a Dutch couple who loves Umbria and its beauties, was my last, romantic, seasonal wedding.
As you know, I particularly love photographing autumn weddings, because the warm colors and the magical light of this season can give rarefied and sweet atmospheres to ceremonies and photo shoots.
Floor and Giorgio have chosen for their party, the dehors of the beautiful sixteenth-century villa Vigne di Pace in the Umbrian countryside. In the different areas of the large garden, divided into different levels, the symbolic wedding ceremony, the buffet and finally the dinner and dance took place.
A full-blown destination wedding, made up of friends, family, moving moments and lots of fun.
The spouses chose for their yes, a photo shoot in pure reportage style with very few concessions to posed photographs, which aimed to enhance the spontaneity of the gestures and the emotion of the moment. The sweet light of that early October afternoon did the rest.
